Profound Gentlemen Information Session For Educators: March 8th

School organizations and districts across the country are being more intentional with filling the void of black male educators in classrooms. According to blacknews.com, “Research shows that there is a strong link between the lack of male educators of color and the academic and behavioral performance of male students of color.”  Profound Gentlemen, an organization originally sparked out of Charlotte, NC, is seeking to fill this void by competitively recruiting,  developing, and retaining effective male educators of color in cities across the nation. PG was recently recognized by Forbes in the top 30 under 30 list for the work spearheaded by founders Jason Terrell and Mario Shaw.

Join the leaders of Profound Gentlemen as they come together for an evening of fellowship and information for those male educators of color interested in becoming apart of the PG movement. To RSVP,  reach out to Archie Moss, Jr., The PG Memphis Region Impact Leader at archie.profoundgentlemen@gmail.com.

  • When: March 8th (5:30-TBD)
  • Where: Bar Louie (2125 Madison Ave)

The mission of Profound Gentlemen is to build a cradle to career pipeline of male educators of color who provide a profound additional impact on boys of color through social-emotional learning.
