Learn how to incorporate international studies into your classroom curriculum during the FREE Memphis in May International Teachers Conference.

Every year, Memphis in May selects a country to honor through performances, exhibits, cuisine, and educational programming in hopes of sparking curiosity and broadening the horizons of the next generation of Memphians. Focusing on this year’s featured country, the Czech Republic, the conference will hold workshops emphasizing a variety of subject areas so all teachers can walk away with fresh insights, ideas, and resources to bestow upon their students.

  • When: Saturday, February 24 (9AM-12:30PM)
  • Where: Teaching and Learning Academy (2485 Union Avenue)

In addition to the Conference, MIM features a selection of programming for teachers and students to engage in. From school competitions and field trip opportunities  to curated curricula and the student exchange program, there are many ways for all ages to participate in this yearly civic celebration of both Memphis and international cultures.
