Aspire is thrilled to be bringing its proven College for Certain model to Memphis. Aspire selected Memphis as its first city outside of California due to its strong local assets, robust education reform environment, and deep need for College for Certain schools. Through partnership with the Achievement School District, Aspire will open and operate 10 K-8 high-performing public charter schools.

1 year commitment to residency program in California, Partnered with a veteran teacher
$13,500 stipend, plus full medical benefits
$9,800 in tuition
After a year, teaching residents will have a valid teaching credential and a Masters in Education.
All course work is through University of the Pacific. Cohort goes through Aspire, one day a week.
TEACHER RESIDENCY DEADLINES:
Dec. 6, 2013 and March 1, 2014 for the July 2014-June 2015 school year
3 year commitment to Aspire in Memphis.
All residents are eligible for the annual tuition reimbursement up to $1500 per year once they are hired as teachers
